Job Title: Post-Tension Engineer

 

Hours Per Week: 40 hrs. weekly, 9-5 pm, competitive salary.

 

Job Duties: Directs redesign of conventional concrete structural plans to include the value and strength of post-tensioning. Directs planning & designing of plans for post-tensioning construction structures. Designs post-tensioned beams and slabs for structure erection. Performs structural analysis of plans for high-tensioned structures. Provides engineering support for installation of extruded high-strength steel cables, friction loss and elevated slab design calculations. Determines repair procedures for cable blow-outs and supervises repairs. Performs job site inspections for PT cables and mild steel placements. Job is in Hialeah, FL.

 

Degree and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, based on education and experience, in Civil Engineering, plus 2 years experience in job offered.
